360 Third Street Beehive is Preparing for the Harvest!
Our hive is active! These worker bees have been busy bringing nectar and pollen back from all the flowers in our area. Some flowers have pretty unique colors of pollen, as you can see on this forager’s orange “pollen pants”.
Now that’s she’s home, she’ll pack her bounty into a cell and then it’s back to the flowers for another trip! Can you see the other colored cells that have different colors of pollen packed in?
